The Gerald Ford Presidential Museum was a busy place this afternoon. The city remembers our own hometown hero as it prepares for his burial in the coming days.
He did seem like a gracious man. You’d have to be after all the jokes SNL had at his expense.
I think keeping it low key worked in this video. I saw the boy scout walking across the law. People discovering the site. A page full of people wanting to pay their respects.
Sometimes the observed is more important than the told. Keep observing.
I was just watching some old WWM episodes the other day and saw your piece on your first visit to
the Ford Museum.I think time has a way of distilling our memories so that we can more objectivly look back at the presidency of someone like Ford and say he really did do the best he could with what he was given. Thanks Josh.
your video are going better and better, even for people outside US that can “live” and maybe understand more all these moments that are only for american people

Well handled. Vlog seems to work best when people stay true to themselves and showing things how they see it. You did that here. You showed your perspective and shared your thoughts and emotions. That is something not only ‘worked’ for this post but it also provided a different perspective from what we would normally see from main-stream media. This was respectfully and honestly handled. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this coverage, Josh.
Interesting how you “took a back seat”. Perhaps more intersting than more traditional coverage. Liked how you signed the book.

Yes Cuoredifango, you are right. Josh is one of the best vlogger in the States.
I have to say, the “back seat” style of reporting you used really makes the video more touching and probably more interesting as well.
Thank you.
I just knew you would cover President Ford’s funeral at least since you’re from Grand Rapids. Great to see this.
I linked this story in my blog. It’s good to see the “back seat” style as Chris mentioned.
